John Van Zandt Memorial Concert - Nov. 11, 2006

We are sad to report that John Van Zandt died at the age of 39 on August 7, 2006 of complications from juvenile diabetes.

The members of Highwire will always remember the work he did for our gallery during the years he was a member. His tireless efforts at organizing many memorable events and concerts, his musical abilities, and his ambitious ideas to incorporate new technologies into the gallery have had a great impact on what Highwire is today. Indeed it was John who set up the first version of the Highwire website.
