These small drawings in india ink are the result of something I've been exploring on and off for about 15 years. They all start with a random, organic shape. This shape is developed into forms and objects through a slow addition and subtraction shading process. I like to think of them as engravings from books of mythical creatures, combining impossible animal and mechanical parts. These pieces are all untitled.
