Much like the other small paintings in this series, this was based
on a digital photo I shot in Tyler State Park. The photo was printed
with a color laser printer and cut into 2-inch squares. The pieces were
divided in half and used to make two similar paintings. In the detail
below, the left side of the image is a piece of the photograph (with
acrylic paint covering some areas), and the right side is painted. |
