This show started out as an experiment with acrylic paints and collage, and I was quite pleased with the results. The paintings were stretched behind old printing frames, as I had previously used, and all were the same approximate size and shape (vertical rectangles). The collage material came from a wide variety of sources but consisted mainly of foreign-language texts or magazine images. Many of the paintings were abstract designs, which was something of a departure for me as well. Here are five of the ten paintings exhibited.
